With all the predictions of States decline this year, when they exceed these expectations the only answer is going to be " Mullen is a genius."

Yep, should be a pretty low threshold for Mullen to win SEC coach of the year. Sounds like 8-4 puts him in the discussion while 9-3 would seal the deal.

Yep. All we have is Prescott and according to McReady and them- he can't make the throws necessary to win big games. Anything past 6-6 and Mullen has done a really good job.

Freezus has 4 AA's and many other highly-rated players. Anything less than 10 wins and he has severely underachieved

The annual football season cycle:

Step 1- Mississippi State doesn't have enough talent, lost too much from last year, etc. They will step back. Mullen is going to be on the hot seat

Step 2- MSU exceeds expectations. Mullen is labeled a genius and will leave at the first offer.

Step 3- Mullen again stays at MSU.

Step 4- Offseason begins and cycle starts back again at step 1. Lather, rinse, repeat.

The most talented player in the country at four different positions. Another all american at TE. 4* JUCO all american with NFL pedigree at QB. The best receivers in the SEC. Top 5 OL in college football. Returns almost all of the #1 defense in America from last year- and actually upgrade at CB even after losing an all american. They literally have more talent than anyone in the entire country at every single position.

How could this team not win at least 10 games?
