Via the /r/CFB subreddit, someone crunched the numbers of every Div. I school in one-possession games. Mississippi State currently stands T-6 for the highest winning percentage in such games.

Interesting. Auburn is #1 in that stat. Over the past 5 years, State is 2-3 vs Auburn. State's two wins were by 18 and 15 points, and all 3 of Auburn's wins were one-possession games (4, 7, and 3 points).

of course auburn leads the country in winning % in close games. who would've guessed anyone didn't. also, kinda crazy that 3 of our 6 Ls are to auburn.
