Check out Intimidator Charters out of Orange Beach. He is by far the best we have ever used in that area. Just make sure you do at least an 8 hour trip

There is apparently an extended snapper season for recreational charters, so don't just go off of the normal snapper season. I'm sure you know since you stated "snapper season will be closed," which only makes sense if you're talking about the charter season, but just thought I'd throw that out there since I didn't realize it existed until this year. Didn't even try to look at a charter trip last time I was there b/c I knew snapper season was over and I didn't want to troll for mackeral, but then saw charter fishermen at the dock with good snapper.
