Haven't been to Cat yet this year unfortunately but I haven't done near as much fishing as I have wanted. We're dragging the boat to LaRose so I'm pumped about not crossing the sound

Back finally from a bunch of travelling. Back to basics. 16oz dry aged prime ribeye, roasted cauliflower and huge cab for tonite.

Tonight was a Charleston Saute - some fresh GA shrimp right out of a seine net, sauted with smoked ham, tomatoes and green peppers, thrown into a file gumbo over grits, and topped with bit of fried okra. Washed down with a nice Pinot Grigio. Going to my cousins wedding tomorrow night, no telling what's on the menu.

We are cooking quail and fresh out of the garden squash,cucumber, and green beans all picked this morning. Gonna be a fine meal.

Nice work speck! I'm going to try and get a few tomorrow with pops for Fathers Day. Here's the sunset at the camp. Bout to fire up an Arturo Fuente. Dinner was smoke turkey on wheat w/baked Cheetos (lol at the irony of the great booze & stick but regular food).

Hope y'all wear em out. I think I could have loaded up on flounder, but I'm determined to catch a STAR winning trout. People were smoking the flounder nearby. I stopped just long enough to grab one on the way in.

I'll do a review later in the week - I had too much wine at the wedding to give a real flavor evaluation. I will say my Dad said "Wow, that's smooth" but, he was deep into his Evan Willliams - so after drink that, any good bourbon would be smooth.

I have to make a quick trip out of town M and T, but I should have a review to post of a pair of 20 and 21 YO bottles I was able to snag last week. Really excited about adding these to the cabinet.

Nothing fancy here, but I love it. Family is gone for the night and it's just me, the dog, little rum and CWS and U.S. Open. Fixed a salad, ate some leftover green beans and prepared tackle for a little bassin' trip with a good buddy tomorrow. Can't beat that.
