Alright bass guys, which one do you prefer? Which one do you have a better hook up ratio with?

Recently, I have had much more success using a shakey head rigged worm.

I prefer the Tx rig since I pitch/flip a lot. I really don't like slinging that ball and chain but it definitely has its applications and advantages in certain situations. If you need to be fishing plastics and you're not fishing specific targets the Carolina rig can cover water quickly. If you have not fished one a lot you need to realize the bite is different than a T-rig.

This texas rig for fishing wood and heavy brush always. carolina rig on open flats fishing weed lines is death on bass

sorry, late to the party... this all day^^^^^ but don't discount a heavy weight and large worm t-rigged deep this time of year. Or a 3/4 oz. giant shaky head fished on ledges

Definitely. I even prefer it at times over the Carolina rig.

Tusk, you better have some "back ups" if you're going to use that rig over here in some places.
