We all know Rick Stansbury. Most of us know about Richard Williams. And a lot of us know of Babe McCarthy. But did you know State had a coach named E.C. Hayes from 1911-24? In his first year he went an undefeated 9-0. He went 33-3 his first three years as coach and finished with a career record of 124-54 697% at State. Not bad for a virtually unknown coach.
