OC- Neal Brown- Spread guy (has been at Troy and TT)
DC- DJ Eliot is a 1st yr DC

Offense: Returns 6 starters (QB, RB, WR, and 3 guys on the OL)
Defense: Returns 7 starters (3 DL, 2 LB's, 2 Sec)

Schedule:

W. Kentucky
Miami, OH
Louisville
Open
Florida
@ SC
Alabama
Open
@Miss State
Alabama State
Missouri
@ Vandy
@Georgia
Tennessee

This team will be improved. Their defensive front wont be too bad and they have a QB with some talent. Stoops has brought some excitement into their program and has a favorable schedule. We'll see if it helps lead to victories.

Coach's prediction? I see them going 4-8 (1-7). With home games vs Missouri and Tennessee, they could pull off 2 SEC wins though.

W. Kentucky L Welcome back Petrino
Miami (OH) W Kentucky has more talent
Louisville L Louisville is pretty, Bridgwater
Florida L UK doesn't beat Florida

Alabama State W Kentucky starts turning the corner
Missouri W Really good game. Could go either way.
Vanderbilt W I think Stoops gets a late season rally to win this one
Georgia L UK plays well, but loses in the end.
Tennessee W Stoops is turning the corner with this team.

Tough call on the Mizzou game, but I'll go with them to get the win to be 4-8 this year.

I also view TN as a potential 4th win. I'm torn on that one, but I give Jones the nod over Stoops at this point.

Most everyone has them beating western Kentucky. I think the opposite. Wku was a decent team last year and now they have one of the best coaches in America. Wku wins that first game

Kentucky's front will be too much for WK

They will have that new coach, new enthusiasm thing going so they will win those first two. I see them going 4-8 with a potential win against Tennessee to make it 5. It wouldn't shock me if they slipped up and beat Vandy too. Look at Mullen and Freeze's first seasons to see what that new attitude/enthusiasm can do to a first year record.
