Jawon Pass/Jalen Hurts

It seems as if Pass is trending towards Bama. Does anyone know how that would affect Hurts if Pass were to commit? Is there anyway we could get back in the game?

I'd say there is about a 5% chance that Alabama signs two QBs this class given that they have Barnett, Crowell, Bateman, and Coker on the roster already. Apparently Hurts has been the #1 guy on their board for a couple of months. I would be pretty surprised if Pass had a commitable offer from Alabama. With Pass being a legit two sport guy, and I believe his brother signed with Louisville last year, i'd expect him to end up there before all is said and done.

Technically we don't have to take a QB in this class. We took two the same year with Fitz & Staley. Yes you'd like to take a QB every year but we don't technically have to. We shall see what Dan decides though.
