The head of PAC-12 officials challenged PAC-12 basketball refs to call a technical on Arizona coach Sean Miller. And by "challenged", I mean he offered a $5,000 bounty.
Miller hadn't had a T all year long.
So in the PAC-12 semis, Miller gets a controversial T. He "confronted" the ref after the game and was fined $25,000. His first T, mind you.
The PAC-12 commish reviewed the situation and phoned Mike Slive to ask what Slive would do if this were Mississippi State. So the PAC-12 commish comes out and said no worries, the $5,000 was just a big joke. Nothing to see here. Move along.
