Definitely agree that we need him badly as you can never have enough good OL/DT's. However, if whats being said is true about Jones and James both leaving after this year, then our biggest need by far is going to be elite JUCO DT's and there isn't really a close second. Love Kobe as a player and really hope we land him, but if we're counting in immediate starter-level production from him as a true freshmen then we are in big trouble.

1) I hate recruiting. HS kids in this day and age love the hype and attention. And they will get it from everywhere

2) Im of the opinion, based on talent, make-up, and performance this Spring- Jones and James will be gone after this season. So that means DT recruiting is a premium this year. Do what it takes- you cant have holes at DT and today's football, you have to have 4-5 of them that can play.

Yep, and it was a thing of beauty. Our Wingbone triple-option under the legendary Coach Emory Bellard. John Bond, Michael Haddix, Glen Young, Marty McDole, etc. And out defense was spectacular as well. That team was one of our best ever, and should have had a much better record. We got shafted a lot back then and had some bad luck.
