I say 11 years.

By the way they could be the first team in history to reach 1000 wins. They have 915 wins now. ND is second with 882 wins.

I wanna say 9yrs but I'll go on the safe side & say 10. That's only 8.5 wins/yr the next 10yrs. If Harbaugh is there for the long haul they'll get there in less than 10yrs.

I've got 10. 9 is tempting, but Harbaugh may still be digging out of a hole for a year or two. 10 is probably a pretty reasonable expectation if Harbaugh spends the next 10 years there. If he leaves within 5 years, bump the prediction to 15.

85 divided by 9 is 9.44, so I think 9.5 is the over/under. Nine will be a stretch at first, but I expect Harbaugh to hit 10 consistently with bowl games once he gets rolling and with big 10 championship game and playoffs, he will probably have two or three 11 and 12 win seasons. I think it will all depend on how bad they are right now. If they are in good enough shape for him to get to 7 wins this year, I think he will get there faster than 9.5. If they are bad enough that it's going to take him two years to get the talent there to even get to 8 wins, then I think there will be too much ground to make up to get there in 9.5.

It took harbaugh 4 years to get his talent on the field at Stanford..they won 12 games that year. So I'm gonna say he'll win 8 games/year for the first 3..then once the players he has recruited are upper classmen, he'll be a 11-12 game winner..Ohio state will be the only competition they have to face..if urban doesn't ***** out once he has competition again, there is going to be some good match-ups between Michigan and Ohio state..

So my guess is that he'll win 25 games over the 3 seasons..and it will take him just over 5 seasons to get the next 60..so I'll say that they get win #1000 in 3rd game of his 9th season

9 years.

I think harbaugh will win a NC during that time too. I think Michigan-Ohio state is about to be what lsu-bama was a few years back

Don't discount Michigan state and penn state. Both have great coaches in place. That division of the big 10 is about to be a very tough division

All those wins and only one national championship since 1948...they might underachieve more than UGA and that's saying something.

They really have.

I think harbaugh will win a NC during that time too.

I think he, his staff, his players, and his program will flame out just like he did in San Fransicko before he can win a title. Dantonio and Meyer have huge head starts on him. Carroll got the last several laughs in on him in the NFL. I think Urban will be Harbaugh's ultimate undoing in college.
