Threat is now over for the storm. Only light damage reports so far.

Smithville is still a place? I thought the F5 a couple of years ago had basically wiped it from the map. Man, how tragic would it have been for them to get hit again so soon?

I'm texting with a girl now that lives in Amory. She said there was a tornado but it didn't touch down. Not much damage either other than a bunch of trees blown over.

passed. It looked like a war zone. Worst thing I've ever personally witnessed.

I volunteered to help with cleanup in Hackleburg, AL (not far from Smithville)...

The damage was incomprehensible... I saw where floor tile had been removed from house slabs.

I started working in the area after the tornado. It's striking to drive through there, but it's rebuilding.

They have the second best snow one stand in the state. (I'm only half kidding.)

A weather station our chase team had in Amory recorded a 117.5mph wind gust.
