Was hesitant to watch the Kingsman, but did anyway. It was pretty entertaining. James Bondish. Samuel L. Jackson the villain. Worth a watch.

blade runner?

It's one of the best scifi films of all time. The 2007 re-release/directors-cut is amazing.

Not on board with Blade Runner, but Frozen is the only movie played at my house, so take that for what its worth. I would watch Stuart Saves His Family right now if I had the opportunity.

I had the same expectations and result from Kingsman. Real fun watch.

I saw the new Mad Max this past week and loved it, but I could also totally understand how some people could hate it. Very over the top.

Pitch Perfect 2 with the gf last night.. Meh, it had some good laughs but I hate glee stuff.

Im a member of a indie film theater. I think that is a film that people say they like because it changed some things in film but the movie is actually awful. I get the importance of the movie but even harrison ford will tell you it is awful.

Blade Runner is classic. In the same vein as A Clockwork Orange, Scarface, Dawn if the Dead (original), etc.

I laughed harder at Pitch Perfect 2 than I have at a movie in a long time, despite being completely and utterly done with Rebel Wilson.

Can't wait for that Snoop Dogg Christmas album.

Not much into post 1990 movies but if I binge watch
Cool Hand Luke
Rooster Cogburn
The Godfather ( I & II )
Apocalypse Now
The Naked Gun ( any of the series )
Casablanca
In Harms Way
The Quiet Man
Street Car Named Desire
They Were Soldiers ( post 1990 )
Lethal Weapon ( I only ) ( post 1990 )
Heat ( post 1990 )
Rear Window
Vertigo

Not much on special effects, much prefer dialogue and acting/actor interaction.

Just watched an HBO movie "Taking Chance" with Kevin Bacon. Excellent Memorial Day movie. Bring plenty of tissue.

By the by, not all that impressed with Interstellar. Ending was definitely a let down. Think 2001 A Space Odyssey.

Stumbled upon this yesterday on HBO. Great movie. If the Academy had any balls, Kevin Bacon would have won an Oscar for that performance. Haven't had a movie put a lump in my thoat like that in a long time.

I liked Interstellar. You can definitely see the influence from 2001 (esp. the 360 docking scene). What I really loved about the movie was the score, tho. It was one of the most unique I've ever heard.

Interstellar was good until he ended up stuck inside a bookcase. Then it went full retard. Also the gigantic waves on a planet that had two feet of standing water everywhere with zero mini waves was a very close 2nd in the Full Retard race.

I have seen it. Just didn't get a buy in from me. I usually go for that type of film too.
