Preston Palmeiro had bizarre walkoff

Yesterday against Miami he lined one into the left field corner and Miami left fielder rushed a throw trying to get him at second. Throw sailed wide of second base, Palmeiro goes to third and coach waves him home. Catcher can't handle the throw home and NC State wins 5-4 to get to the ACC championship game today. He called it a "Little League home run". Must be nice to still be playing baseball.
