I'm sure you've already answered this, Dan, but do you see Holman as an impact player next year, or is he more of a project? Regardless, though, how much better does this make us this coming season?

For next year, I just hope he can defend and rebound for us and be a great athlete. Play the role Kasongo would have for us.

I also wonder what that means regarding the euro center that was mentioned in the other thread?

Holman will be a good depth guy this year. However, expect the guy to be a monster in 2016.

Is Holman considered to be a better get than Kasongo and we just lucked out by not signing Kasongo?

He will play next year I don't think he's instant impact next year. He has to continue to grow & develop his body. I will say his sophomore & esp junior year he can be really good. A lot of the recruiting guys think he has NBA potential & skill set.

Yea he looks really raw but I can definitely see the potential..Kind of reminds me of Varnado but with a tad more offense.

Not sure how this works. He's graduating with the 2015 class so he really doesn't have to reclassify.

GUESS: If he wouldn't go through with graduation, he could have gone to prep school for a year, and been a Freshmens for the class of 2016.

You can graduate HS & still go to prep school for a year. Kivon Coman & Artimas Samuel did.

Slight hijack, but I sure wish we had Samuel this year to replace MoJo. He'd be the best TE on the team right now at a position of need.

Idk...he was only like what, 6' flat? He had decent hands, but was a little undersized to block, IMO. He had a couple of good catches, but I liked what I've seen out of the other guys.

Since I've seen it posted elsewhere. Dunlap has already left the team he's heading to Juco next year. There will most likely be 1 more & a slight chance at 2 more guys leaving.

Isn't Zuppardo still in the numbers? I think Ndo has a chance to stick as a defensive specialist...

In my mind I would think getting reclassified from the '16 class to the '15 class means you can sign immediately and not wait till the next early signing period in November. But I agree with what you said - if you're on track to graduate, what does it matter. I just keep seeing posts saying he has to be reclassified.

If he hasn't enrolled at Hargrave yet, which I don't think he has since he's announcing after graduation practice this morning, I think it's semantics with recruiting guys on this reclassifying talk.

Really like what you see on film. Good range, explosive, get 30 lbs on him and you can see why a lot of people think he has NBA written all over him. Lefty to boot it looks like.

Ha! I asked same thing in the thread I posted bout Holman this a.m. Haven't gotten a response as of yet. Only thing I know is that SS said he thinks the schedule is comin out sometime this summer. Will let you know if I hear anything.
