But...but...but...that can't be true. When he told the bears to go 17 themselves their story line became that he would never qualify and that they backed off last minute and not that he in fact told them to go 17 themselves.

TD has some work to do but he's expected to make it. Dontea has the most work to do but he's not a lost cause. He can make it but it would probably be fall camp.

Manny was asked about it last night in Vicksburg at the final Road Dawgs Tour stop and he said he was good to go and would be here this summer. He said he was looking forward to coaching him and that he and other freshmen would be given the chance to play. He brought up his 3 biggest recruits (his sons) and how his lively hood is built on being successful and that takes people he can trust out there on the field.
A few other details:
-Leaders so far on D are R. Brown, B. Brown, and Coman, will see who else steps up on The Farm
-Won't give up long passing TD's and will hit the QB, "Everyone responds to pain differently"
-MSU setup to have sustained success, says recruiting pitch is basically the same but now able to sell winning as well as family, graduation, etc
-Excited about having an elite QB, very impressed with Fitzgerald too
-Impressed with WR talent and depth, if you can throw you can score and you're not out of any game
-Says it feels like he came home

Peters was never in question. Lewis wasn't really either, but he was closer to not making it than Peters.

Really hope TD makes it in this summer. Good to hear that's still likely with a little work. We need some good young tackles for the future, but not only that I also think he could maybe get some reps and provide some depth this year as well.
