Just got in from NWR-DC game. If we don't use Riley as a pitcher then Cohen is crazy. He's better than most of our staff today. Low 90's with a good change up and curve that he can locate.

Mingione was there to see the DC boys. Hopefully, if he makes it to campus, he will be a dual guy. I don't give a shit what his sink and spin is and if he can induce a ground ball. Kid is a stud on the hill.

If he's not hitting and pitching, he will leave for sure. I think that is why he won't go pro BC he won't do both in pros. Obvious national league pick too.

Mlb teams don't draft pitching prospects based on how they hit. With that said, everything needs to be on the table with guys like this to get him to campus.

Sure they do. NL teams always go for the better hitting pitchers esp the starter types. Not relievers.

What?????

Yeah, I'm not sure about that. Even if it was true, minors use dh so he wouldn't hit crap by the time he got to mlb anyway

NL teams could care less about how well a pitcher hits.

It damn sure isn't a factor to where a pitching prospect is drafted. That's for sure.
