Any word on what direction we are leaning towards in terms of QB Recruiting?

The names I am used to hearing are Jalen Hurts (http://247sports.com/Player/Jalen-Hurts-37059) and Juwan Adams (http://247sports.com/Player/Juwan-Adams-77404) but how about the recent revelation that Sawyer Smith wont be playing baseball -- is this a game changer for us? Do we expect to get a commit from one of these guys this summer after camp?

1. Hurts - He's the top guy & the only QB who could commit right now. MSU & A&M battle.
2. Smith - Him saying he's football only is huge. Mullen loves him & just wants to see him throw in the June camp. If Smith looks good in June if he decides to commit before Hurts I don't think we wait on Hurts.
3. Adams - I don't see Adams getting an offer unless we miss on the top 2 & I see no way we miss on those 2.

All those guys are a bit smaller than 3 of the 4 guys we have on campus right now. Just wondering how that might play into things.

Pretty much. It's just not practical to think you're going to get a 6'5" 230lbs dual threat guy every year.

Bears say we'll have them roided up to 250 in no time.

A&M just got a JUCO QB commit with 3 years of eligibility -- does this help us with Hurts?

Not really he's a 2015 guy. The thought is by getting him they may be able to RS Kyler Murray. What it does do is take them from a 2 QB 2016 class to a 1 QB class.
