Everyone agrees his last year was a dumpster fire and he needed to go. Here's his last year's record... 23-33 (9-21). Cohen has to win 1 just to match that sec record. So, if polk's year was unacceptable and he needed to go, why does Cohen get a pass?

I'm not necessarily for firing Cohen, but he's certainly earned the right to debate it

It should also be noted for purposes of this discussion, he was just one season removed from an Omaha trip. Cohen is two seasons removed. It's not exactly apples to apples as Polk went 0-2 and Cohen took us to the Championship Series, but it's close. (Not trying to insinuate anything, just putting the situations into context.)

In fairness, Polk II wasn't coming off of 3 straight winning SEC seasons in 2008. In fact, Polk II only had 2 winning SEC records at all in 7 years, and that was with McMahon leaving him a full cupboard rather than a dumpster fire.

PolkII had 5 of 7 post season teams. It wasn't good enough then....why now.
