Today if you had to guess, which baseball signees do you believe we will lose?

Not them, but Greg Pickett, Ethan Small seem likely. I've heard there ain't no way mama lets Austin Riley not make it to campus. Keegan James is a draft risk too. You have to think if Riley and Blaylock from Desoto come to State, their teammate will come as well. It wouldn't shock me to see us lose Jared Padgett as well.

I hear the Asst GM of the Nationals was at the last game Riley pitched. I believe game 1 against MC

Unless Riley goes in the top 30, he's coming to school.

IMO we are the MOST at risk of losing in no particular order- Pickett, Riley, Small, Fenter, and Breaux.

I hope I am wrong.

Pickett for sure. Small is 90%. Riley is 50%-anytime you have a pitcher that can jack HRs, he is a draft risk, Marrero 50% (you would think), others Todd mentioned.

Remember the big clue is if their drafted high means the club has called them and asked are they serious or not. McCord would have been a high draft if he wanted to but told everyone don't draft me and he wasn't at all.

I also would say lots of college players and pitchers are having great years which pushes down the HS guys.

As soon as we start losing some, you will see us replace them with JC guys who I hope are very good, like step in and start. I will have full breakdown on my blog about who is coming back, etc later in summer. Might have to wait until MLB sign deadline of July 15.

Well I'm assuming we would be significantly oversigned if we didn't lose anybody. I thought we had signed with the assumption that we would be losing some for sure.

Its a combo of attrition, redshirting the walkons (hard to tell who they are) they aren't counted toward 35, draft signees (roster and signees). They can tell a couple of players in December, you need to go to JC bc you don't have a spot.

Trust me, they have it planned out.
