Convoluted hitting practice? Players have to meet all kinda of matrix during practice. He said " I've never seen anything like it" and NOT in a good way.

Based on our hitting this year I would say it's not working. You know like Crooms playbook that took 3 years of studying.

Point is I believe he has made our hitting SO DAMN COMPLICATED, the players don't know what the hell to do.

Interesting point of view from an announcer who sees lots of teams practice.

Those drills plus 150 pound left handed batters = slappy pop outs to left.

Legit. We should have hit the weight room like a few yesterdays ago.

Really Clark?

Was going to ask who has the DVD and if they have used those drills. Which ones didn't you like?

I didn't see a DVD titled " How to take call Strike 3" or " How to Not hit the ball out of the infield". **

I note that a lot of our hitters have a "squat down" hitting stance. I used to play a good bit of baseball and don't recall any of our hitters on our American Legion and High School teams having that kind of stance. My own personal opinion is that they would be better hitters if they stood up more, but maybe I'm not up to date on modern day baseball hitting.
