I don't have a big problem with #3. First base coach does basically nothing. You or I could be 1B coach. That one is getting way overblown because of how bad we're playing. The rest: Abso-fooking-lutely. Especially 4. I wouldn't be heartbroken if we just nuke the roster for next years outside of Collins, Hump, Brown, and Gridley. Maybe Holland, he's shown life lately.

No, up just have to see major improvement next year. I know we have a great class signed up, but even elite talent takes time to really be dominant. I don't see how we can talk about hosting next year.

Come on man, college baseball basically = ncaa women' s basketball. Obviously it's a big deal at some places but so is lacrosse. I'd trade everything our baseball team has ever done and ever will do for ONE NCAA championship in basketball or ONE SEC championship in football. I bet a majority of our fans would too.

Go on any corner in NYC right now and you'll hear people talking about the Mets not the Jets. Whoever is in charge of teaching hitting is to blame. He has not received proper teaching. For one thing, His hands aren't far enough back in his stance for power. Secondly, his hips open up before his upper body comes through most of his swings. The reason he drives the ball the other way with decent pop is his hips do not open up like they do on an inside pitch and the power increases. Hands are supposed to open up the hips. Not the other way around. He swing is disconnected and any decent hitting coach could change every one of the things in a month or two in the off season.
