It really is sad that our state's largest newspaper constantly tries to make us look bad. It has lost them a lot more business than they will ever realize.

Seems extreme to suspend your drivers license for fishing without a license. I'm guessing he ignored the MDWFP ticket resulting in the DL suspension. Not a smart thing to do.

What is considered "fishing" though? Don't you fish for catfish with your hands? So they suspend your drivers license if you're caught by a body of water with a fishing pole? So many loopholes here.

I'd say he could easily catch 3 fish...maybe 4. The question is: how many red lights can he run with an expired license before being arrested?

So they decided to eliminate virtually half of their potential profits to promote a university in it's own state. It's not like because they promote Ole Miss some State fans are just gonna switch who they go for. Maybe Ole Miss has the CL on payroll, wouldn't put it past them. I just don't see the point in losing half your profit base to promote something that isn't worth promoting.

Guess I don't see why a fishing license would have any connection to your driver's license. If he was fishing without a fishing license I would have assumed he would get a ticket and then go pay his fine. Why would your driver's license somehow get involved? The 2 licenses aren't even administered out of the same department.
