Biggest weekend of the year and we cancel a game in advance with rain odds (iPhone app) only going over 50% around 5pm. Not sure why we're doing this

Is it canceled? I don't see anything on Twitter or HailState.com saying so...

That's what I read in game thread. Hope I'm misinformed

Probably wanting to prevent as many alumni from seeing our sac bunting clinic we put on during games.

I just read the game recap article on the Hail State app (which says it was updated at 10:35) and the last line of the article says, "The series continues with a 2 p.m. start Saturday."

Could be. That's what I heard, but my source isn't exactly reliable. That said, Accuweather has a rain chance of 90%+ tomorrow. I've already decided to skip driving down with rain chances that hight. Plus our very own Ref has said don't expect to play before Sunday.

This...... and yesterday, it had been mentioned that the MSU football game may have to be cancelled due to inclement weather, but that weather forecast has changed so what I've heard is everything is going on as scheduled as planned.

Boy, weather and poor play from our baseball team has really put a damper on this SBW.

After looking at the revised forecast and hourly chances, hell with it. I'm going to risk it and go down.

Yea, I am looking at the hourly forecast on the Weather Bug app, and it shows 0% chance of precipitation until 5:00. It goes to 30% at 5:00 and then 80%-90% from 6:00 to 1:00. So hopefully that will play out.

Accuweather has it as less than 15% until 2, then up to 35%, then 50% at 5. Basically, I think we'll wind up in the clear at least for the M&W Game and 5 or so innings of baseball.

We should do everything we can do to play tomorrow. And I think we will.

If the baseball game were canceled today, does that mean two 7-inning games tomorrow? I think that would be preferable for us.
