Question for the turf experts

We had some excavation done in our back yard earlier this year and are planning to put down sod in about another month. Now that it's warming up we've got a bunch of weeds that are really starting to poke through that I'd like to get rid of before we sod. If I use round up to kill the weeds, then sod in another 3-4 weeks, will there be any residual chemical left that will adversely effect the sod (bermuda)? Is there something I should use other than round up?

Round Up has no soil activity at all and no residual whatsoever. You will be fine to spray what will be your yard.
