I just looked up Kasongo's stats at JUCO and he only started 7 games and averaged 6 points per game. Was he injured? Is he playing on the Kentucky of JUCO ball and is forced to share minutes?
Just curious as to why he is thought of to be a Year 1 contributor with that little production.
I do trust in Howland, I am just curious about Kasongo's situation.

His juco played all 12 players. Everybody on the team avg at least 8min/game & nobody avg more than 22min/game. He avg 15min/game. Watch his film to see why Howland think he can contribute.

Not really sure what his situation was but I know he had a really strange episode occur when he was signing with the JUCO. If you watch the highlight film going around on him you can see that he's got skills that our team currently doesn't have on both ends of the floor, so there is at least that. He's very nimble for a big guy and goes up strong to the basket (looking at you Ware). He also blocks a ton of shots in the video.
