Yep Howland watched him in the Adidas tourney in Dallas this weekend. Also offered a 6'9" PF on that team from Louisiana also Cameron Lard.

I'm not sure but I would try to get Peters in the fold as soon as possible. Guys like this is why I was never worried about losing Tookie.

Peters is a 16 recruit I believe. He could step in as a true freshman after Malik goes pro. Assuming we get Malik

I think so. They saw him this week offered & now are working on getting him up here for a visit soon.

This kid is the real deal. His game reminds me a lot of Damon Stoudamire

No clue about this player, but I think Howland's reputation for identifying talent pretty much ensures anybody he gets after early will blow up.

Howland called & personally offered these guys so I would assume committable. Basketball is a little different there aren't any camp offers going out. If you want a kid you offer. I don't know a lot about Crowfield but I know the staff absolutely loves Peters. Watching Crowfield he reminds me a lot of Quinndary Weatherspoon.

Yes it would be a good idea. New Orleans Elite is an Adidas sponsored team. Plus Coach McCray has known these New Orleans kids since their Freshman year.

Peters does seem to have the intangibles of a Howland type of player. Tough, hard-nosed, hyper-competitive, etc. Obviously with him being a lefty, Zimmerman comparisons come to my mind. I doubt he can jump like Z, but it sounds like he has a better three point shot than Z did.

Z was right handed. He's a way better shooter but Z was way more athletic. They both share that same competitiveness it seems.
