Any good angling reports from the weekend?

Spent a few hours on Ross Barnett today. We caught around 15 or so bass but the largest would only go 2+ or so. Looks like the spawn is over. These appeared to be males hanging around guarding fry. Still fun getting your string pulled though. Most on spinnerbaits in 1'-2'. Anybody else?

I got one coming tomorrow. I'm exhausted this evening but will have one with pics tomorrow. Glad you could get on some bass. That spawn ended just as fast as it started it seems like!

If it rains much more, I'll be sight fishing for reds in my front yard.

I haven't caught a decent bass out there in a while. I think the spawn is getting ready to really heat up since the next Full Moon is 2 weeks away. The crappie/white perch/sac-a-lait are starting to really move in too.

I'm headed to Lake Fork in a couple of weeks sure would like to catch a double digit bass while I'm over there. The timing may be perfect from what I'm hearing.
