I say: It might be the pattern, but the pattern ****ing sucks. None of the other legitimate baseball powerhouses like LSU, SCar, etc. treat the first month of SEC play like it doesn't count. They hit the gas pedal at the start and don't slow down. Either we're a powerhouse like them and should expect to be good all of SEC play or we're an average program who's best years are behind them. Can't be both.

I hope that run is over as far as SS is concerned. Cohen should start feeling something warm in the seat of his pants. Not calling for him to be fired, but we can and should do better than this

Memphis scored as many runs as we scored the entire game in the bottom of the first, on a walk, WP, FC, and a sac fly. We just suck this year.

We have every reason in the world to be good. We have historical success, recent success, a huge fan base, the "Carnegie Hall of College Baseball", the greatest experience in college baseball with the Left Field Lounge, the premiere stadium in college baseball in the works, regular Top 10 recruiting classes, an award-winning pitching coach, and a head coach that won a SEC Championship at Kentucky and took us to the CWS Finals. SO WHY DO WE STILL SUCK?

Sadly, I agree. We can get back there, but I've seen enough in 7 seasons to know Cohen isn't the one to do it. He's had 6 recruiting classes and this is the best product he can put on the field. It's embarrassing. If I could go out and hire anyone, I think I'd go with Dan McDonnell at Louisville. Not sure he'd leave there now or if he's biding his time to replace Bianco, but I'd make him tell us no.

Go to the softball game. That's where you'll find some life on the daimond. If I could be there I'd try to make all three sports if there aren't time issues, but I'm afraid you'll have more to get excited about at the little field.
