As in Keyshawn Johnson.

Pretty cool.

Did we get him the damn ball?

He has a son Keyshawn, Jr. (2016) who is making the rounds visiting schools this spring. We could very well be in the mix for his signature.

Jr is a 2017 kid.

We almost had him- would be awesome if we could land his son

It still hurts to think we almost had Key and Moulds playing together.

Where does Johnson live?

California, we just offered a handful of players from there in the past few days

Who cares, he can afford a 3rd/5th/8th home wherever his son wants to play, I'd imagine.

Has he been seen at Old Waverly?

With Steve McNair throwing passes to them and Davis and Bouie running behind Fred McCrary and the most awesome MSU o-line in history.

Except we recruited McNair as a DB, I think. One of The Kang's biggest crootin' failures. And as much as Derrick Taite sucked, Key & Moulds would have made him look even better. The bigger problem would have been convincing The Kang to turn loose the O and not be a control freak with a ball control offense. Running off Bruce Arians was arguably the biggest mistake he ever made.

Yes, and we actually saw that with Moulds. There is a highlight video that some Alabama fan made that is about 20 minutes long of our 1994 game with them. It was kind of our team in a microcosm- Moulds made some unreal plays and scored two TD's and a two point conversion on balls that should have been incomplete. And you had Derrick Taite just making all kinds of risky throws- and getting burned a lot of times especially when we couldn't bail him out. There is a video of the 1994 UT game that same year where Moulds made a late catch on 4th down on a pass that was way over his head and would have been incomplete for 95% of the WR's in the world.

I agree on Arians as well- he was our best OC under Jackie IMO and we would have raised even more hell with Arians and JLD.

Everybody but Alcorn recruited McNair as a DB. People forget that he was an All-State DB not an All-State QB.

McNair, Moulds, & Keyshawn: Would we have won the SEC?

Signs point to yes. But seriously, would've been an unbelievably explosive offense. Would've been interesting to see if McNair and Keyshawn would still be the same caliber names that they are now had they gone to State.
