Alabama's basketball job is no better than Mississippi State's. I know some Bammer fans have a hard time believing that, but it's true. We made a better hire and if they hire Avery Johnson, it will still be a better hire. Just because he coached in the NBA doesn't mean that it's a great hire. Bama logic. Remember this is the school with 2,456 proclaimed National Titles in football. Hell Bear Bryant won 893 of them and Saban has won over 1,351 of them in only a decade.

The key for Johnson will be what kind of staff he puts together. If he gets a staff with a couple dynamite recruiters he can definitely succeed. If not it's going to be tough sledding.
