Any Austin, TX Dawgs? Need opinion

So, I'm in the running for a pretty big job in Austin, and I am considering relocating. Anyone here living/lived there? Interested in particular about how hard of adjustment it was for kids.

Tips on good/bad areas would be a help too.

It's a good area and has a bustling economy now like Dallas.
It is kinda crowded and traffic is really bad from my experience. On the positive note, it is the best live music scene right now. Austin has a little bit of everything between UT, being the Capital city of texas and all the hippies that live there
