I fish salt 90% of the time and will likely be putting a Calcutta on it, possibly a chronarch. Really want another St Croix but my guy can't get them so I'm looking at castaway skeleton and falcon coastal. 6'8-7' medium fast. I'm open to anything and want any suggestions, as long as it can handle a bull red or jack.

I think either the castaway or the falcon will be fine for inshore salt. Just to throw another name out there I have a daiwa Laguna casting Rod on one of my setups and I like it just fine. It's a step down in price from the ones you mentioned but it's at least worth a glance imo

Laguna casting combo was how I learned to use a baitcast. I have almost all st crook triumphs right now, just wanting to try something new
