@GoodmanESPN: Ben Howland to retain George Brooks. Was on Rick Ray and Rick Stansbury's staff. So, staff is Korey McCray, Ernie Zeigler, Brooks.

I wish we could have gotten Pierre, but that's probably the best assistant staff we've ever had.

Jason Ludwig likely Director of Operations coming over from Arizona St. Worked with Howland at UCLA.

I wish we could have gotten Pierre, but that's probably the best assistant staff we've ever had.

Williams' staff had Brady and stansbury didn't it? That's pretty good

That's good. I guess Pierre fell through, which left Brooks a slot. Just glad we kept at least 1 local guy to help with the transition.

Pierre was looking for a little too much money. Considering he's Assoc HC at OK St & he more than likely wouldn't have here I understand.

We have many people that under estimate Brooks ties to recruiting and MSU donors.

He is very well thought of and was never a huge fan of Ray - truth be told.

This is true. And had Stands landed a head job (we know he won't, but hypothetically) Brooks would have bolted
