Basically says that if you have a "hardship" you have to sit out a year. No more transferring to Ole Miss from Clemson because your great aunt in Arizona is sick and then becoming immediately eligible.

I'd be willing to bet any sum of money those cheating asshats already have a te of lawyers breaking doe the language of the ruling in an attempt to circumvent the ruling. They are some of the best at accomplishing this Godl. Just look at how they violate the FOIA and others. If they cannot circumvent this ruling, they will proceed to find one they can use to continue their cheating ways. But they will continue to waste more talent than any program in the NCAA.

The way it should have been all the time.

Kelly transferred from JUCO, not applicable.

No, they should have hardship transfers, they should just apply the rules in the ball park of impartially. The problem is the NCAA can't commit to applying a rule in a manner that's even close to impartial, because it will always cave to the big boys (and even to the UM's to a large extent). So they can either have a rule that benefits certain schools, or they can have a rule that eliminates all options for discretion or judgment. So now the transfer from Auburn will not get to play another game in front of his dad while he is living, and the NCAA can pat itself on the back. It's really an incredible organization.
