Who knows. Some older guys have started doing the coach in waiting deal to bring in assistant talent. See SMU with Tim Jankovich as the Coach in Waiting to Larry Brown.

Interesting. I mentioned Jankovich 5 years ago as a replacement for Stands when D@A put that list together people asked for

Rumor was he had a falling out with Howland though
