View Full Version : Somebody needs to tell Dayton/Archie Miller that he's not supposed to be winning

I wonder if he is going to wait 3 more years to say that he has a basketball team again...

First came the college game?s usual turnover, with two starters graduating and a third transferring last spring. Then in September, the NCAA ruled incoming center Steve McElvane a partial academic qualifier, meaning he could practice but not play in games. Three months later, the team?s only two big men, Devon Scott and Jalen Robinson, both 6'9", were dismissed from school after their alleged involvement in a burglary. In early January, Ryan Bass, the team?s reserve point guard, was shut down for the season due to concerns over concussion-related symptoms. With forward Detwon Rogers inactive all year due to a knee injury and what Miller has described as ?an academic situation,? the Flyers entered conference play with only six scholarship players, three of whom are underclassmen and none of whom are taller than 6'6".

His brother may be the best college coach there is. Apparently it's in their blood. I'd love to have Archie, but he'll get a much better job than us very soon

Actually year 4. He's been in postseason 3 of 4, including elite 8 last year

Surely this led to a school-record conference losing streak? Or at least 10 games lost by at least 25 points?

Maybe we should lowball him with a $1M/year offer BUT WITH ROOM TO GROW! When he turns it down, we can come back with $1.2M.
