that Laurel's Ricky Holden is the best point guard in the state. What's the word on him?

He dropped 40 against Callaway & hit a 3 to send it to OT.

Hardnett is probably a better prospect but he didn't play for Gulfport this year. He transferred to a prep school in Fla but the school has been looking kind of shady with academic dealings with the NCAA. So Hardnett transferred back to Gulfport to get his last couple of credits but was ineligible to play basketball.

His 247 bio didn't tell me all that. Good info

Not much need at the D1 level for 5'11" spot shooters who can't elevate on their shots. Good high school player but he'd struggle to get his shot off against D1 caliber guards.

From reading the title I was hoping the body read something along these lines, "high school coach was contacted by strickin to be our men's head basketball, or at minimum come in on staff to teach some basics such as dribbling, passing, and inbounds plays."

I really enjoy sarcastic humor. Well done.

Can we not turn every basketball thread into a Rick Ray back & forth please?

I don't think it's possible

We don't need another point guard! We need 6'9 small forwards that can shoot and move and rebound. We have 2 point guards for the next 3 years. We need shooters and we need big men to rebound
