Havent seen a complete list but the players I really want there are CT cause hes got to have a better year at the plate than this year. Wes Rea - the sky is the limit for him if he gets that bat going with his size. Lindgren, E. Mitchell(if he doesnt sign) - Need them to step up into the player he can be and pitching alot in July and early august will help going into the fall to compete for a starting role and of course the guys stepping up to compete for starting roles in the field due to departures.

Garner is tearing it up pretty good! He's going to end up being a tremendous hitter for us...

I saw somewhere that Hann is playing for the Thunder Bay Border Cats of the Northwoods League

Great news, Engie. Can you tell me a website where we can follow summer league progression?

Think that's a free update most of the time...

Brooks Roberts will post it on the message board, so keep an eye on it...

Generally when he does, it makes the rounds almost immediately to all MSU sites anyway...

I assume this is a contingency plan and he plans to sign with Pittsburgh. Boy I sure would love to have him back but don't hold out much hope of that.

I'm thinking it is just who he had agreed to play with before the draft.

Todd you seem to know this kind of thing. Why isn't Rea playing this summer?

As much extra baseball as we played- I dont have a problem if Rea doesnt play this summer- as long as he works on his body and does some certain drills to transform his body

Question about the summer leagues........who pays for these guys to go live at these different places for the summer? With such a high participation rate, I assume that it is not up to the players to cover the costs. Do these teams bring in enough money to be able to feed, house, and cover the expenses of traveling to play other teams for all of these guys?

From what I understand they stay with volunteer host families and are bussed to and from games.
