@Arkansas_Logo: Arkansas under Mike Anderson:
2012: 18-14 (6-10)
2013: 19-13 (10-8)
2014: 22-12 (10-8)
2015: 24-7 (13-5) and counting

That coach inherited a solid team and also a top 5 in the country recruiting class. Completely different situations

I would love to have a top 5 recruiting class. Hell, I would love to have a top 25 recruiting class right now.

Me too. Was awesome for Pelphrey to set up Anderson like that

Your hate for Stands won't even let you acknowledge a great coaching job Bc u are afraid someone might mistake it as an insult of Ray.

Whats funny to me is that Anderson inherited 3-4 starters returning and 7 of the top 10 from the year before- plus a top 5 recruiting class- and it STILL took him 4 seasons to make the NCAA's. Preacher is actually making a good argument that Ray needs more time considering where we started

Stands has zero to do with this thread- I'm explaining to you the difference in the situations each coach inherited- they are opposite ends of the spectrum

But you do understand that a LARGE percentage of our fan base believes that he should be gone now? I don't necessarily disagree with you, but I think next year will be Ray's last, unless he pulls a Freezus miracle and gets Newman and rejuvenates the program. Our boosters were behind Stansbury until the end. Ray doesn't have the same support. He's almost destined to fail.

Stricklin was on Bo Bounds a week ago and Bo asked the question about Ray. Stricklin talked about GPA, class attendance and working out/weights participation. All that I heard in that was "We are sucking and we know it, but we are scared to do anything due to promises that I have made."

The question is would Byrne put up with the lack of attendance and support? He fired Croom one year after being named SEC coach of the year. He got rid of Polk. He wouldn't put up with shit.

I would be fine if we fired Ray tonight. I'm not a Rick Ry guy by any means. I think he is a solid coach but his recruiting has been shit to this point. There is no excuse for Bloodman and Endo being in our top 8. I think he needed to win 8-9 SEC games this season- and Bloodman and Endo are why we havent. They dont give us anything.

I've passed along that the Admin is saying he has zero chance of being fired after this season. And with that in mind- I think Spoon and Tookie Monster will improve our bench. If we can finally stay healthy we will be an improved basketball team.

We'll see what happens

Neither did Ray. It was about Mike Anderson.

I wonder what the excuse is going to be next year? We had a very weak schedule and I don't think it is too much to ask to have a .500 season three years in.

I think that I read somewhere that our OOC schedule was so weak this year that the SEC had problems with us turning it in. I think we can all agree that it will be tougher next year. We will also have a return trip to Tallahassee mixed in.

And I talked about Anderson. Then I laughed at it taking him 4 years to make the NCAA's with what he inherited

You lost credibility when you said Ray is a solid Coach. What can you base that on. Any Coach that can't run an out of bounds play isn't very Solid.
