Also I really hope its not the same guy calling from behind home plate the last 2 games. His zone sucks, it takes him 10 years to make his strike call, and it obviously doesn't work well with our guys.

Nice win. Nice to see us get back to what was working before and executing it against a pitcher with an ERA of 1.64 coming into the game. Good to see Gavin Collins back- now we just have to get our guys up to speed. I thought Sexton was solid as well despite having a few jams and giving up a two run home run. Interesting that it was Daniel Brown that closed the game and not Fitts. Maybe Brown should be the closer. At least until Fitts stops trying to overthrow his curveball.

I like him a lot. His slider is very good and he has some velo and arm side run. He's promising.

Cohen has done a real good job getting quality pitchers and defensive players which is the foundation on which you build a solid program. disappointing to see the lack of hitters thus far at this point though. I don't think I can stomach another year like last year with the bats.

Britton defense at 3rd is outstanding. He hasn't screwed up at 2nd so far. Britton at short stop is atrocious for some reason. Britton batting is even worse. He just takes pitch after pitch and half heartedly swings every once in a while.

thanks 91...I don't get to watch much on t.v. and I don't keep up that much. I'm just remembering some plays I've seen him make at 3rd that were brooks robinsonesque. didn't know he was being move around. moving players around and not playing them consistently can cause mental hiccups though.
