Bulliet Manhattans tonight with some crab cakes and shrimp & grits. Lots of yard work this weekend (the curse of Live Oaks - they lose their leaves in the spring) - so going easy with homemade pizza tomorrow and a beer can chicken on Sunday.

Me and the baby girl are harging this weekend while mom away in her alternate persona as LTC mommy. Nothing fancy, maybe some baby backs tomorow afternoon. I like Brunswick's pizza idea, and may follow suit on Sunday with a cast iron Chicago style on the Weber.

Four Roses Single Barrel tonight when the girl goes down.

Sapper - I've never been brave enough to try the pizza on my Weber. I have 2 cooking stones for the oven that work great for a crisp thin NY crust. Never thought of using my skillet for a deep dish - may try that.

Here is the basic template I have used for mine: http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/showthread.php?t=148028

If you use alot of pepperoni in the layers it will have a tendancy to get saly on you. Otherwise, this has been a great recipe for me.

Slightly off topic but I saw an outdoor pizza oven at Sam's next to the Komodo cookers. Like $700 or $800. It was pretty cool but no way I'm buying an outdoor pizza oven for that kind of scratch

Yea, those are all the rage now..here is one for the Weber http://www.kettlepizza.com. I thought about building an outdoor wood fired oven for pizza and bread, but realized I would only use it a couple times a year. Not enough to come close to justifying the expense. The cast iron pizza on the grill will work just fine, and for much cheaper.

Just picked up a sixer of Lagunista Sumpin Extra Ale. It's my new thing

Bought some discount pork from Sams and it was outstanding. It was called boneless pork back loin. Had never heard of that cut but it looked like pork loin. Marinated it all day in a bourbon brown sugar marinade. Grilled it over hardwood coal

I liked the pork idea beast went with so I sliced a porkloin into thick steaks and grilled them and did up a batch of fried rice to go with it.http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a558/lancedale88/Mobile%20Uploads/C0392323-B77A-4DBB-81B5-2F2EA00AB31C_zpsmuxhoixw.jpg (http://s1283.photobucket.com/user/lancedale88/media/Mobile%20Uploads/C0392323-B77A-4DBB-81B5-2F2EA00AB31C_zpsmuxhoixw.jpg.html)

I did pork as well... K-roger had a price that I couln't pass up. So, I wrapped a pork loin in some popular pork product. It's easy (just season with Conecuh pork&game), and makes a great supper for all week. Mustard-based BBQ sauce is a must. I like sticky fingers, but Cattleman's is pretty good too. Normally, I'll put cream-cheese stuffed jalapenos in the middle, but for some reason, I just blew through K-roger without even thinking about it....

I've been in Panama for about a week, so no cooking, but ate grilled shrimp in a passion fruit sauce. It was amazing. May have to work on replicating that at home.

ETA: Panamanian beer is pretty awful

Which one (the beer)? "Panama" was the worse that I swilled while down there. The Balboa and Atlas that I had were after too many Panamas, so I can't really remember how "bad" they were.

"Panama" is definitely the worst, but they say it's the most popular. Balboa has been the best of the three. A Balboa, after a Panama or two, tastes great.
