I think I've stated my case on that one. Graveman doesn't walk or hit people.

Yea, it was...but it wouldn't have mattered. With our hitting approach and lack of adjustments, we could have Nolan Ryan throwing and would lose with the walks and errors.

That is correct as well. Our hitters have shoved their heads up their asses.

It had a lot to do with the loss, but our lack of adjustments at the plate like cadaver mentioned hurt a lot as well. Ultimately our lack of starting pitching cost us.

I wouldn't have saved him. At this point there is no tomorrow. Even if he could have given us 4 or 5 good innings it would have been huge.

What pisses me off- I said what before this series started? Hit line drives. We did it ONE inning and we got a couple of hits.

We play in a pitchers park too. We really should be able to hit balls on a line. Hunters hr got us here, but it may have won it for ucla too though.

One thing I do like about us not using graveman is that we can show recruits (pitchers) that we respect their arms. I really hope we sell this to potential pitchers and their parents

They might not have scored 8, but we would still be at 0. Yeah, I was also surprised Graveman didn't start.

I don't remember him throwing a meaningful pitch in the last three weeks, it just seemed to be an odd time to go with a guy that hasn't been in the fight.

If you are going to warm up Mitchell in the first inning, then I wish we would have just thrown him instead.

I don't think people realize how tight we played after going down 1-0. They played loose, we then played tight. I hate to be critical of Cohen because he pushed every right button for the last three weeks, but I just didn't understand this one.
