OT: Tax Question

I made a mistake on my taxes. I did them online and submitted them about 3 weeks ago.

Did a quick search, it looks like I can submit a 1040x form and that will correct everything. Is this the case? Thanks.

Yep. Did the same thing one time. I think I did the correction online too, but can't remember for sure.

Did the same thing a couple of days ago on my taxes. Filed a 1040X amended return through my H&R Block software. Unlike the 1040 return, the IRS does not accept 1040X electronically so you must print and mail. If you used the IRS internet tax preparer it may be accepted I do not know if this is the case.
