@LSU & @Bama? That would be 3 straight losses to end their regular season. Would it force the Bears to have to win a game or two in the SEC Tourney.

If om loses today, bama (assuming they beat vandy today) could take om's spot if they beat OM.

I don't see Bama getting. Unless they win today @Vandy, which I give them about a 40% chance of. Then home against OM, give them a 60%. & Finish @TAM give them about a 30%. They need to win those 3 and win at least 1 if not 2 in the tourney.

If they do lose the last 2 that puts them at 19-11. Let's say they go 1-1 in the sec tourney, that's 20-12 with one great win @Arkansas and a few bad losses in non-conference. If that plays out like you said, I would almost say they are surely bubble if not NIT bound. But I believe they will beat Bama

I think bama gets it done today. I'm not sure about om and aTm though. If bama wins all 3 though, I think they have a good shot at getting in. They're 78th in rpi, so they'll be in a good position with 3 more wins. Of course, winning those 3 will be very tough

Alabama's resume isn't in the same league as Ole Miss, sorry. OM dropped to 46 RPI which was pretty brutal from 34 after losing to Georgia so they are going to be sweating it out if they lose the next 2 on the road.

Right now, I agree. I was just saying it was possible if bama wins out... Not likely

Neutral court win v. Cincinnati, road wins at Oregon and Arkansas. Those are such crucial games for the committee to see. The kind of wins teams usually lack when they are excluded from the tournament.

Don't know ... don't care. Hope they don't. Sure don't want to play them in the SECT. 4 losses in a row is bad enough BUT 3 in one year has never happened in our history

I'm the opposite. I'd love to play them 1 more time. It's not like they've blown us off the court. They won game 1 by 6 while getting 26 more ft opportunities than us. In game 2, they won by 6 also. We were up 10 and dominating the paint until johnson went down. Could they sweep us? Sure they could. We could also beat them and keep them out of the tourney though. Bring em on. I'm not scared...

They are firmly in. Would have to lose out and they won't lose to vandy. They are a predicted 7 or 8 seed. Hard to fall from that.

They sure are in s tight one down in BR right now. LSU shooting less than 30% and Bearsharts onLy up by 4. I expect LSU to make a 2nd half run and pull away. They've been out of sync all day and finally started clogging the lane and took a few OM charges to end the half.

UOM up 4 at half @ LSU. Looks like the SEC will get 6 teams in this year. That's the most in a long time. Slive demanding better OOC scheduling has helped. That and SEC teams actually winning some of those games.

Lsu missing a ton at point blank range too. Can't expect that to continue with their big men

Ole Miss is only shooting 36% too. Should be a good 2nd half ahead

I've got to give them credit this year. They've got some sort of "it" factor going. They seem to consistently make plays throughout a game and avoid scoring droughts, eventually separating themselves near the end of close games.

I spy atleast three transfers contributing big time for both these teams. When is Ray gonna wake up and get us some transfers that can shoot?

LSU breaking this 1-3-1 with excruciating ease

The transfer (moody) that's making
a difference for them only got one decent offer (OM). Lots of coaches missed on moody

Hornsby for LSU has been impressive this year. We'd have six more wins with him. He's a transfer from UNC Ashville. No reason we can't be getting transfers like him too.

Gotcha. Thought you were talking strickly OM. I wouldn't mind us pursuing a transfer. Ray doesn't have that luxury now though. He needs players next season or he might not be back

And the bears indeed fall today.

A transfer that doesn't have to sit. They are out there. Over 600 transfers per year now.

Tuned in to end of first half ... and end of last 10 minutes. For a team on the 'bubble' OM played less than inspired BB in the 2nd half.
