OK at the game but heard he made some dumbass remark about STate fans and how we can't afford to be in Omaha

Correct. He said a lot of fans couldn't afford to come but made the trip anyway.

He didn't belabor the point. Just said in passing while discussing how the stadium was packed with maroon.

I think he just stupidly believes the stereotype that all MSU fans, including grads, are just poor dirt farmers.

I thought he said John Cohen told him that.

Said, Cohen told him that some of our fans really couldn't afford to be driving to Omaha but they did it anyway.
