Said he wouldn't be surprised if when Rea comes back, the right side of the infield moves to the left side. So John Holland to 3rd base. Gridley has just as strong of an arm but he's inexperienced for the hot corner. So the musical chairs begin at 2B and 3B because Ridley is playing great. I don't care as long as we win.

Seems simple enough, just plug Holland at 3B.

Is he saying:

1B Rea
2B Heck
3B Holland
SS Gridley

???? Or am I being too literal.

I hope you're being too literal but I had same question. Not sure you can move a ss that made 4 errors all season last year, but who knows.

Cohen just said some guys, so Heck will stay at SS. Probably just hinting at what most on here have been saying for the past week- put Holland or Gridley at 3B.

Ok, I thought that was a weird thing of Cohen to say. It sounds like Holland will move to third.

I Seen It and myself were talking about this at lunch yesterday. We both agreed about puting Holland at 3rd and just let Gridley roll at 2nd. He is perfect for that position with his demeanor and grit.

Rea getting hurt may have been a blessing in disguise.

Cohen said something like this today, and I thought it was so true. We always learn a lot about who our players are when people go down early in the season. Rea going down openned the door for Gridley and Collins being hurt has helped us build great depth at catcher. If it doesn't cost you games, these injuries can actually help you in the long run.

Holland is very experienced which you must have at 3B, hitters will duke you into moving in, etc.

I would LOVE for Gridley to win Fr POY.

Rea is supposed to play this weekend. Smith will probably be back as well. Gavin is about a week or two away. Paul Young will be back as early as next week. They're also thinking Gentry will be back soon as well.

Might have to go Rooker/Collins at 1B/OF at some points if Lovelady is this damn good defensively. Can't overstate the importance of a solid D catcher.

We'll see what Rea we have against top arms.

Didn't Tate Blackman already win it?

Collins is gonna catch- but Lovelady will get some games. You DH Collins on Sundays or midweek and get Lovelady some innings- plus save Collins stamina which in turn will help his bat speed

Cohen's face lit up when talking about Young. What does that tell you?
