Green Bay has released AJ Hawk. Does anyone think they make a move for BMac?

I sure hope so! GB is my team. BMac to the Pack would only increase my fandom.

I thought the same and looking into it, many GB insiders already expected BMac to be selected at 30. Looks like this only bolsters that potential move.

I'd believe he'd fit in there and about where he belongs in the draft

They released Hawk because he never lived up to first round potential. BMac is only one option.

He is the franchise leader in tackles. He has certainly fallen off in the last couple of years but the guy had nearly 1200 tackles in 9 seasons.

He was billed to be the next Ray N. - was serviceable but Clay Matthews was always a better performer IMHO. 9 seasons for an LB is a good run for a LB in the NFL but I never saw him as anything but pedestrian. Not a surprising cut though.

I wasn't comparing him with one of the best ever, but it's ludicrous to say he wasn't a legitimate first rounder.

Not a surprising cut only because he is on the tail end of his career.

I read that the Packers interviewed McKinney, so maybe.
