It's officially a winning streak. The Hull City Tigers garnered their second consecutive victory by knocking off Queen's Park Rangers 2-1 on Saturday. Nikica Jelavic started the scoring early for Hull with a goal. Shortly thereafter, QPR's captain was sent off for punching Tom Huddleston. Despite this, QPR would score an equalizer minutes later. Hull was sloppy thereafter, never really taking advantage of their numbers or running the legs off QPR.Manager Steve Bruce would pull out all the stops in an attempt to win, using all 3 of his subs to insert offensive upgrades in Gaston Ramirez, Abel Hernandez, and Sone Aluko.

Just when it appeared the game would end in a draw, Hull struck. New signing Dame Ndoye scored his 3rd goal in as many games and his second goal at The KC Stadium with a sick header in the 89th minute to put Hull ahead. Hull successfully fended off QPR in stoppage time to seal the win. Hull gained 3 extremely valuable points and remained at 15 on the table.

Next up for Hull is Stoke City. And in a bit of very positive news for Hull fans, Mo Diame is expected to return on Saturday. Diame was easily Hull's MVP prior to being injured and should have a big impact. I'm expecting a hard fought battle between two teams in the middle of the pack, especially with Hull beginning to see the return from injury of some important pieces.

Leicester City continues to fall further and further into relegation as they now trail by a 4 point margin to the next rank in the table. The Foxes ended last week with a 2-2 draw with Everton after a late goal by Everton's Lukaku with 2 minutes left to play. The Foxes really needed the three points that a win would have given, but at this juncture any point is a point needed. Grumblings have been growing louder about the job that Nigel Pearson is doing with the club, adn they aren't good grumblings either.

The Foxes will face off against Manchester City on Wednesday March 4 in Ethiad Stadium. The Foxes really need a win in order to try and climb out of relegation.
