Hey if 6'5" basketball player turns out to be an all-SEC type wide receiver, it only stands to reason that a 6'10" wide receiver will quickly evolve into an All-Amercan type wide receiver. The way things are going, I am thinking in 2018/2019 we will have a 6'11" qb tossing the football to a couple of 7'2" wr's.**

Yep. Gotta have a C and a SF in the 2016 class to go along with the CG and PF we've already got committed. Will have at least 4 players in that class, and it's only 10 months away from being able to sign. Love Hicks and Simonds -- be interesting to see who the other 2 pieces are...

Looks like Banks is about to be ranked in the top 5 overall for 2016 in Georgia and the #1 rated C. He's only been playing basketball for three years but his stock is skyrocketing. Probably be a 4* recruit soon. Nice find Ray.

Could have 5 scholarships available if Zuppardo doesn't get his medical RS. If you can lock up Banks then my pick would be Daryl Macon SG from Holmes CC.

Simonds, weatherspoon, and dunlap are all 2 guards. I'd rather get a juco big man

Weatherspoon could play with the ball in his hands & Dunlap is a specialist. Macon is a special talent. He's avg 24ppg this year. If he wants to come you take him bc he can fill it up. It's not a need but you take that type of talent & play a 3 guard lineup if you have to.

Yea Ray has been on him for over a year even though we just recently offered. Hopefully that hard work & getting on him early pays off like it did with Simonds.

After next season, all we've got at SF and C is Houston and Ndoye. Weatherspoon is a pretty big 2 -- so he could probably shift to the 3 to get he/Simonds out there together more(either could shift to the 1 at times too IMO). Either way -- we've got guys that can play the 3, although Houston is the only prototype at this point, and his shooting has been streaky at best. Would like to add one more guy at that spot.

I think we do need a JUCO/transfer C in this class as well. Ndoye(and a likely fr -- maybe James Banks) will be the only centers on roster after Ware leaves. I'm not convinced Ndoye can ever be a good #1 C, although he can be "Wendell Lewis". Hence the JUCO need. We have a chance to compete again with the recruiting that has been done -- but I do need to see Ray address the glaring stuff in recruiting. The hodgepodge/out of position stuff has gone on long enough. This year is much better -- but I don't want to have to address it anymore.

Normally you wouldn't take a juco guard but if you have a chance to get a Timmy Bowers like guard damn the needs you take the talent. He's a special talent & we need all the talent we can get.

I feel quite confident in saying that he'd be a 14th scholarship situation though. He's not taking the place of us taking an additional C and SF in this class.

Yea they have to be considered the favorite. They're also in good shape for the #1 SG in the country in 2016 & another instate SG so that's why he hasn't committed yet. If they get those 2 we're in good position. A former teammate of IJ & Flanagan's dad was his HS coach. If we miss on Macon then Clayton Hughes is my definite #2 guy behind him.
